Heceta Head

This historic lighthouse was first lit in 1894! Its beacon can be seen from 21 miles out at sea. We were on a road trip down the beautiful Oregon coast when we stopped to take this photograph. You can rent a room in some of the old houses here at this Coast Guard station. How cool is that?
