Hole-in-the-Wall Falls

Yet another amazing waterfall in the Columbia Gorge. This actually comes out of a hole in the wall. In 1938, state maintenance crews blasted out a pipe-like tunnel to divert the original creek which often flooded the highway. And voila! a waterfall was born. It’s about a half mile from the parking lot for Starvation Creek State Park, such an easy hike to such a cool waterfall.
